You always cared about what we’d been up to. Genuinely cared, always sitting us down and finding out what our weeks had been filled with. You could always bring us down a peg or two, with a reminder of what we were like as kids, when we needed it. A smile, a hug and a kiss when we needed it too. There was love and warmth for us as adults, just as there was when we were children. The more I think about that, the more beautiful that actually was. Sleep tight Auntie Em!

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
